Met de officiële DroidApp App blijf je waar je ook bent op de hoogte van het laatste en beste Android-nieuws. Eind 2018 is de DroidApp App compleet vernieuwd met veel nieuwe functionaliteit en een nog strakker design. Het nieuwe design past beter bij DroidApp, samen met het nieuwe lettertype. Je kunt meerdere thema's kiezen, de vernieuwde zoekfunctie gebruiken en alle specificaties van toestellen opzoeken. Ook vind je de actuele prijzen terug bij verschillende winkels.

Vanuit de app is het mogelijk een artikel direct te delen, of via Disqus te reageren op een artikel. Ook kun je DroidApp vanuit de app een bericht sturen als je een nieuwswaardige tip hebt voor de redactie. Je vind ook de relevante artikelen terug onder het nieuwsartikel.

De kers op de (Android-)taart is het instellen van push-notificaties. Je kunt ervoor kiezen om al het nieuws middels een push te ontvangen, of alleen bij belangrijk nieuws een melding te ontvangen. Je dient wel eenmalig handmatig de push-notificaties in te schakelen, deze staan standaard uit.
